Lock Your Trailer!

It was noted at the TLP & SA annual meeting in San Diego, Calif. that as many as 60% of the trailers on the road are not locked. Why invite trouble? Make sure your trailer is locked at all times, whether loaded or empty.

CSA 2010 Data Review is Online

As of April 12, 2010, Motor carriers can review their inspection and crash data organized by the CSA 2010 BASICs and identify and address safety compliance problems.

More States Ban Texting While Driving

A few more names have recently been added to the growing list of states that have taken legislative action to prevent distracted driving. At the time of this printing, the following states have passed a ban against texting while driving: Alaska, Ark., Calif., Colo., Conn., Ill., Iowa, Ky., La., Md., Mich., Minn., Neb., N.H., N.J., N.Y., N.C., Ore., R.I., Tenn., Utah, Va., Vt., Wash., Wis., Wyo.
